I got this bottle of 'Ice Remake' spray ('for redo makeup') from Ippondo in Atrium on Elliot (Auckland City) for 20 NZD which equals to 17 USD. I have a sneaky feeling that I got it for much more than it is worth since international brands are always sold at a higher price in NZ.
(40g)
if the picture of the lemon was supposed to depict the scent...it lied |
annnnddd what a disappointment it was. It has a tiny pointed nozzle which sprays out white foam that frizzles uncomfortably on the skin. Once applied on the face, it leaves white residues that doesn't dissolve unless you rub on it which I hate doing as I'm paranoid of smudging my make up.
It has a weird factory smell which I can neither describe nor get used to.
Its not very cooling nor is it especially good at maintaining my make up, overall, it was a stupid waste of money... on a side note, the packaging is quite cute.
the instructions on the back tell me to shake it before applying, I obeyed thinking it would make the white foam dissappear but it only made it stiffer =_= idk what the designer had in mind but I cannot find a suitable use for this product. Maybe its just me being oblivious and difficult but I have never come across a spray that acted like this.
it might also help that I don't understand a single word of Japanese and the bottle is covered in it. so perhaps it was me not understanding the instruction manual but...I would definitely not repurchase
EDIT :
ok WOW I was wrong about the shaking, after you shake it, it comes out with small solidified foam that is ICY COLD cool! but useless =_= just a thumbs up for the novelty
