I know that all of these have exceptions, its just that the mass majority is prone to looking rather gawky in these combinations.
1. Scarf on purse
Seriously? I don't really know how this started as a trend, I mean I would understand it a bit more if it was loosely tied on like the Moschino bags or if it was just really appropriate with the theme of the outfit, but with it wrapped around a handle is just too much for me.
(unless you want to be like, yeah I've got myself some Hermes AND Prada....Yeah!)
2. Socks in sandals
Unless you have model esque legs, I wouldn't suggest in trying this... I've been seeing so many girls wearing their heels like this and it just annoys me how juvenile it makes their outfit look
3. Hi-Lows
When these skirts come off the runway, they only accentuate the most unflattering aspects of the leg...
4. Black shoes with light outfit
This just makes the whole look bottom heavy
note: I'm talking about 'light' as both in colour and material because sometimes a sleek and structured white dress looks great in black stilettos
5. Furry boots
um....Idk what to say about this...
6. Tees underneath dresses
for this one I'm typically talking about the pretty flowy summer dresses that don't belong on top of a t shirt
7. Gladiator pleather skirts
I don't really see how this makes a girl look cute and feminine so...not really up my alley
8. White rimmed glasses
they're just so distracting...but a great tool for disguise I must say
personally I'm not a big fan of these more daring wardrobe choices, but if you're comfortable with this then awesome
but yeah...if I see someone wearing this on the street I'll be more inclined to keep my distance haha
10. Tacky colour combinations
such as blue and yellow, purple and red, red and green
there's always that specific shade which is absolutely blinding, but if you step away from that shade then its mostly good to go
